My fiance and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Aliscia for our engagement photos. Right from the start, Aliscia was engaging and professional.
On the day of our engagement photoshoot, Aliscia made us feel comfortable and provided so much positive feedback. It was really important for us to feel like our pictures represented us and that we had a lot of fun with the process- Aliscia made both of those things happen!

In an extremely unprecedented circumstance, our original elopement plans had to be canceled 3 weeks before our original wedding date. We reached out to Aliscia in an absolute panic and she completely saved our elopement and made sure we didn't have to worry about a single thing. She absolutely made us, and our day, her number one priority. From forming and organizing a timeline of the day, to structuring family photos to be efficient, and to making sure everyone was included, she was on top of everything. She even made it a priority to get to know the names of our family members before our elopement and arrived early on the morning of our elopement to capture the little details of our day.

Aliscia seriously came through for us well beyond anything we could have imagined or asked for. Long story:
We had a wedding planned in California but at the last minute we had to change our plans due to forest fires. Rather than postpone this wedding we had worked so hard to create, we instead opted to move it to Marquette, MI. We reached out to several photographers whom we had met with before but none seemed to fit what we wanted like Aliscia. She almost seemed to drop everything to make our day happen despite it only being two weeks away at that time!
Aliscia spoke with us and helped us develop a timeline and coordinate our wedding. If you have a true wedding planner, I suppose this would be a non-factor but for us it was exactly what we were looking for. She also came up and stayed in the same place we stayed and hung out with us and our families for several days to capture and help plan. Our families both could not stop saying enough good things about Aliscia and her personality.
Aliscia also did a fantastic job at capturing candid moments while other photographers we've worked with focused more on posed moments. Everything just felt natural when working with Aliscia! Even the photos we did pose for didn't feel awkward at all and she did a great job at avoiding the cheesy shots that didn't feel natural. Aliscia also wasn't afraid to go out with us wherever we wanted to go. It was windy and chilly but made for great scenery and photography in general and she was more than here for it. I don't even have words to describe how she came through for us and how impressed we are. Aliscia is basically a family member now!

I connected to Aliscia through a Facebook group and then we started following each other on Instagram. I was then drawn to her photography style, personality, and because she is a believer. A few months later, I was engaged and in need of a wedding photographer!
I filled out the contact form on her website one night, and she responded early the next day! We were planning a wedding in only three months. Aliscia was flexible and willing to work with me on a payment timeline that fit my needs, and she was quick to respond whenever I had any questions. When we spent time together to scout out our venue and talk about day-of plans, it was such a great experience.
Aliscia is so welcoming, down-to-earth, and authentic, and a great listener. On wedding day, she was ready to go! Some portraits took a little longer than planned, and we had to make some adjustments to our photo schedule. Like I said, she is flexible and willing to serve her clients the best way possible!
After the wedding day, she sent me a sneak peek the next week. It was so exciting!!! After, she was great with communicating the progress of our gallery. I received a text when she was about 3/4 of the way done, and the full gallery was still well within the expected delivery date that was noted in our contract agreement.

I honestly cannot put into words how amazing Aliscia was.
A friend of mine recommended Aliscia for me to use as my wedding photographer so I checked out her page and fell instantly in love with her work. We obviously decided to hire Aliscia and it was the best decision ever.
By the end of the wedding, Aliscia didn’t feel like my photographer anymore, she was a friend. She made the whole process so easy from the moment we hired her and even after the wedding. She was very communicative and always made sure what I wanted was put into priority.

Aliscia is not only a great photographer but a joy as a person as well - she made us feel at home, quite literally, as she captured our backyard wedding in our new home with only our closest family due to COVID-19.
She was respectful of protocols, came prepared with the laundry list of family portrait arrangements we had asked for, and was flexible & patient with our forced changes due to the virus.
We used her for both our engagement photos as well as the wedding, and absolutely plan on having her capture our full party when we are through the other end of the pandemic.
Her photos are wonderful and I was surprised by how many photos she was able to turn around to us fully edited.
She is wonderful and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Aliscia was so great through the whole process! She did our engagement photos and wedding photos and really knew how to make us awkward people feel at ease in front of the camera!
She was open to my crazy ideas but was also constantly on the lookout for other suggestions or ideas of places, poses or whatnot. She gave us so many pictures and also helped us get a big canvas printed to hang on our wall.
Very professional in how she did everything and she had a second photographer as well for our shoots that really helped.
She knew exactly where to be on our wedding day and I swear I never noticed her but our pictures were amazing!

I was searching for a photographer for my wedding next year and I came upon Aliscia’s portfolio. I fell in love with her work! Color tones, soft, vintage feel is what I was looking for in my style for the engagement shoot as well.

There are no words that can correctly encapsulate how wonderful Aliscia and Aaron are, but I will try!
I found Aliscia on Instagram and I was immediately drawn to her work. My husband and I spoke during our search for photographers and we both had the mindset of that we did not want the typical pose and "cheese," forced engagement/wedding pictures. What drew me immediately to Aliscia's portfolio was how her pictures looked like works of art. They looked like pictures you would find in a picture frame when you buy it. We expressed that to Aliscia, and she NAILED it!!
Aliscia and Aaron made having our picture taken fun! Nothing was ever forced or awkward or uncomfortable. Aliscia's bubbly personality (yet stern voice to member's of our wedding party that needed to be told what to do ****sooooo important*****) made everyone feel comfortable and she got s**t doneeeeeeee!
Aliscia photographed our engagement shoot and then Aliscia and her husband Aaron shot our wedding day. Not only did we get the most beautiful pictures on both occasions, I believe we gained two good friends.
