I honestly cannot put into words how amazing Aliscia was. A friend of mine recommended Aliscia for me to use as my wedding photographer so I checked out her page and fell instantly in love with her work. We obviously decided to hire Aliscia and it was the best decision ever.

Aliscia is not only a great photographer but a joy as a person as well - she made us feel at home, quite literally, as she captured our backyard wedding in our new home with only our closest family due to COVID-19.

She was respectful of protocols, came prepared with the laundry list of family portrait arrangements we had asked for, and was flexible & patient with our forced changes due to the virus. We used her for both our engagement photos as well as the wedding, and absolutely plan on having her capture our full party when we are through the other end of the pandemic.

Her photos are wonderful and I was surprised by how many photos she was able to turn around to us fully edited.

She is wonderful and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

My Style to Documenting Your Day

I approach your wedding day by combining two styles - documentary and editorial.

Throughout the day, I try to be as hands off as possible. This allows you to experience your day as it happens, with all the genuine emotions it has to offer. Your relationships, your connection with your people - this is what we're here to capture. And my goal is to turn this beautiful moments into works of art for you to be sharing with the world for years to come!

Your portraits are when we take more of an editorial approach. This is when we get creative TOGETHER. Because let's be real, when are you going to be THIS dressed up again? And even just in your wedding attire. So we definitely need to make sure you each have gorgeous photos of each other!

My Process

Throughout your day, I take a little more hands-off approach, and I'll be photographing everything as it unfolds naturally.

If you want me to be more hands on - I can give you guidance and direction. If you want me to be a fly on the wall - we can make that happen.

Jumping on a FaceTime with you is my favorite way to get to know you, and also get to know what you're looking for when it comes to your wedding day, and how you'd like me to photograph it.

Your wedding day isn't just a photoshoot. It's a collaboration between you and me, together! This is how we create works of art that come together to tell the story of YOUR day!

Our connection to each other is so freaking important. You value the people in your life. You've poured your heart and soul into this day. It's so incredibly important that you don't hire me because you just need someone. We're here to collaborate together!

I'm here to tell the story of your day. I'll be there every step of the way, documenting it as it happens. 

When you get your photos back, they won't be JUST wedding photos. They'll be works of art that you can be proud to share with the world! WHAT TO EXPECT

I'll get there early to scope out your venue and find some great spots for different portraits throughout the day.

My job is to make you feel comfortable, and capture you at your best. I'll subtly direct you throughout the day if you need it. But my goal is to allow you to be yourself, and to document the day as it happens.

Throughout your day, my second and I be weaving in and out to make sure we catch every sweet moment, including moments that tend to go unseen. That quick kiss at the dinner table or tucking that loose strand of hair behind your ear. All the moments that give you those butterflies.

I’ll be the chameleon you want me to be – whether you want me to be the ringmaster herding everyone up for a shot, or to sneak around in the background, capturing all the natural, candid moments. No cheesiness or cringy, forced poses here!

Why I Do What I Do

When you lose someone so close to you, it makes you realize just how important having photos of them can be. I think this may have been the last photo I took with my mom. So I'm grateful to have it.

My mom was the queen of documenting life moments. She wasn't always in them with us, but I am grateful for the photos that live out there where we are together.

This is why I photograph your moments with your people. We need to have these memories to look back on. We need to have these memories to hold on tight to.

This is where you share all the details so far! Tell me anything and everything about what you're hoping for your day!

+ FaceTime Call

This is when we sit down together and talk all things wedding planning! Whatever questions you have for me, this is when we get them answered! I'll help create the perfect wedding package for you!

03.

+ Lock It In

Once we've chatted and all your questions have been answered, this is when we sign on that dotted line! I'll send over the contract and invoice, you sign and pay the 30% NON-REFUNDABLE retainer, and the date is all yours!

04.

+ Questionnaire Time

After you book, be on the lookout for a questionnaire in your inbox! This helps me get to know you both better on a personal level, and helps me better photograph you two together!

05.

+ It's Wedding Day!

The day you've been waiting for! It's here! Breathe; take it in! We've asked all the questions, figured out the plans. Now it's time to sit back and enjoy your wedding day!This is where you share all the details so far! Tell me anything and everything about what you're hoping for your day!

06.

+ Gallery Delivery

So many moments to relive! Within 72 hours, you'll receive a gallery of sneak peeks from your wedding day! Your final gallery will be in your inbox within 8 weeks of your date!
