Downtown Grand Rapids Wedding Day

Drew and Lyndsey’s wedding day at New Vintage Place in downtown Grand Rapids was literal perfection. First, they had the most gorgeous October day for their wedding. Second, their family and friends are just simply phenomenal. Everyone was there to celebrate these two and throw the best dance party ever.

So these two lovebirds met and fell in love over Covid! They had gone on one date in downtown Grand Rapids, but with the state of the world and everyone’s lives, they decided to just be friends for the moment.

“So, friends we remained – throughout the pandemic, growing something organically, talking and texting nearly every day, spending time trading stories via Marco Polo and video chats. Playing games over video chats. Eventually falling in love, discovering that they really were meant for one another, and since about August of 2020 – we were exclusive.”

Fast forward to October 2022, and these two finally tied the knot! It was amazing to see Drew’s kids and also both of their brothers, come together to begin this new chapter as a family. There were seriously so many moments during their ceremony that almost broke the floodgates! Hearing the love they have for each other and listening to their vows, and then hearing Lyndey’s vows to Drew’s kids?!?! Holy smokes! The tears were flowing! And not just from their family and guests!

Drew, Lyndsey, I couldn’t be more freakin grateful to you two for choosing me to photograph your day. The love and care and understanding you have for each other it’s undeniable. And to now be able to call you friends? You two truly are something special, and I can’t wait for many more game nights and adventures to come. I love you both and am so unbelievably grateful to be a part of your lives!
