Pat and Maddie’s engagement session at Turkey Run State Park in Indiana was like nothing else. These two were up for anything, including getting into town a day early to go hiking and explore the park with me. When they said yes, I knew we were in for a great time!

When initially talking to Maddie about the engagement session, one of the biggest things she said was that she didn’t want it to look like Indiana. So when she said that, I knew we had to come to Turkey Run! It had been on my list of places to see for so long, and I knew right away that these two were the perfect couple to take there! Not to mention they both love hiking and exploring as much as I do!

So because none of us had actually been to Turkey Run before, we decided that we should hike around and figure out the best spots, that way when it came time to photograph, we weren’t wandering around. And, it gave me a chance to get to know Pat and Maddie better! And when I get to know you better, I photograph you better! 🙂

To say we had a blast exploring and creating together was an understatement! Pat and Maddie are so chill, but they also know how to show the absolute sweetest love! I’m so freaking grateful I’ve been able to connect with them. I CAN’T WAIT for their wedding day! If it’s anything like hanging out with them during engagement photos, I know it’s going to be an amazing night!
