Pat and Maddie had their wedding at Millcreek Wilde back in June, and it was absolutely amazing! It was definitely a warm one! Michigan in June this year had record high temperatures, and we were definitely feeling it! But Maddie and Pat were all about celebrating their marriage with their favorite people, so they didn’t let the heat stop them!

I had the chance to photograph Pat and Maddie back in September of 2022 down in Indiana, and it was so much fun! They brought their light sabers, they were ready to hike! We had a freaking blast! If you’ve never been to Turkey Run State Park in Indiana before, you need to go! Maddie wanted unique photos, photos that maybe didn’t look like Indiana. And I definitely think we accomplished that! First thing to mention about their wedding day…Pat and Maddie made all of their flowers! Out of wood! Every SINGLE ONE! It was insane! The tea cups and books they had on every table were thrifted over the engagement, and everything just screamed their style and who they are. Which was perfect, because they wanted their wedding to look like them, and they nailed it!

Remember – no matter what you do, where you go, big or small, make sure your wedding day looks like YOU! In 20 years, you are going to be so freaking happy you did!
