Photographing bridals for H and G at Venue 3 Two in Grand Rapids was so much fun! They actually were married here less than a year prior, and to be back getting bridal portraits taken was amazing.

Since H and G already knew the layout of the venue, they were super comfortable in the space and were just excited to have more bridal photos together. Their wedding day, like everyone’s, went by in a blur, and they had wanted to be able to have more photos together in the space they were married. But the timeline of the day just didn’t allow for it.

This is another reason why I think Bridal Sessions can be so beneficial. If you have a tight timeline on your actual wedding day, maybe you don’t to have as much time as you’d like to have photos taken with the person you literally just married. And if the day ran behind at all (which most do, let’s be real) then sometimes your Portrait time is what ends up getting cut down.

Or maybe you want to do more photos in another location that means something to you. But like before, your timeline just doesn’t allow for you to drive somewhere else.

That’s where adding on a bridal session for another date is honestly so perfect. Not only do you get to put your wedding attire back on and wear it AGAIN! But you get to go somewhere either new or meaningful to you and your relationship. And that’s so stinkin special.

So if you’re on the fence about doing a bridal session, or you’re just worried that you won’t have the time on your wedding day to get the portraits together that you want, then maybe adding this on is a good option for you! Just think about it! I don’t think anyone has ever told me they have too many portraits with their new spouse!
