Westen and Emily’s wedding at The War Memorial in Grosse Point, Michigan was so incredibly elegant and timeless. The venue itself already leans itself to a classic look and style. And then paired with the gorgeous florals and greenery that Emily and Westen chose? It all came together so perfectly in a look that just screamed modern elegance.

It was obvious how excited and happy Westen and Emily’s friends and family were for them. They had been together for a number of years, bought a house together, have two dogs (who also got to walk down the aisle!), and were now finally getting the chance to tie the knot!

Their ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect. There were a few moments that we were all unsure if it was going to start raining on us. We were outside on the back lawn and the clouds were coming in. But after a little misting, everything lightened up so perfectly! And as Westen and Emily walked down the aisle together, newly married, the most beautiful rainbow decided to grace the skies! It really couldn’t have been more perfect!

The night ended in more dancing than I’ve seen in awhile, and it was so much fun seeing Emily and Westen’s family out on the dance floor with them. Hearing their words and seeing the love written all over everyone’s faces – you just knew that they had all been waiting for this day for a long time. And it was such an amazing day to be a part of, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful!
