Nelson and Kira’s engagement session at the Lilley Mansion in Spring Lake, Michigan was absolutely to die for! Sadly, I had never heard of it before, but now I can’t wait to come back! This little bed and breakfast is located only a couple minutes from the main street in Spring Lake, and it’s truly a gem of a location.

When Kira told me that this was where her and Nelson were wanting to do their engagement session, I was totally on board! Everything in this b&b just seemed to scream their names. With the quiet reading room and fireplace, to the regal lounge room, it was their style through and through.

I had only met Kira once before their session, and it was through our FaceTime call. And let me tell ya, we hit it off right away! Not only is she a talented artist herself, but so is Nelson, and getting to collaborate on their engagement photos together was so much stinkin fun!

“I was searching for a photographer for my wedding next year and I came upon Aliscia’s portfolio. I fell in love with her work! Color tones, soft, vintage feel is what I was looking for in my style for the engagement shoot as well.

We had such a blast (at the engagement shoot). She really cares for her clients and wanted to get those shots. I was so comfortable around her and she was so professional. I can’t wait for the wedding!”

I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for their wedding at the Amway this year! It’s going to be an amazing day to remember!
