Cody and Tess’s Downtown Market garden engagement session was so much fun. It’s fun when you meet a couple that shares your love of plants and nature and also your vision for their session.

When Cody and Tess got to the Downtown Market, we hit it off immediately. They are so chill and just so personable. Talking to them about engaged life, family and doggos was so easy. When couples are so relaxed and believe in your vision for their session, it makes so much to actually capture them together and how they see each other. Your photos should capture this amazing time in your life as well as give us a glimpse into your relationship.

After an hour at the market, we drove out to Lake Michigan and ended the evening on the beach. There were no clouds whatsoever in the sky, so we had the opportunity to play with some direct sunlight, which was so much fun! Cody and Tess were down for whatever I threw their way and everything turned out more amazing than I could have thought!

I can’t wait for their intimate wedding this fall. It’s a privilege connecting with couples who care so much about celebrating their marriage with the people that mean the most in their lives. This is why intimate weddings hold such a special place in my heart. And I just can’t wait!
