Lake Michigan Off Season Getaway

Might as well start of with the most luxurious and comprehensice Airbnb on the list. Shockingly, this comes with the highest price tag.

With an abundance of beach front property and windows this Airbnb is guarenteed to allow for amazing photo opportunities!

Xfinity high speed internet available throughout the house! The backyard is big & provides delight for kids of all ages! Ample room for all outdoor summer activities! There is central a/c, but highlight having the windows open to hear the sound of the waves and feel the lake breeze. Binoculars are provided to view the freighters at night/bald eagle, foxes & other wildlife that live in the area. Split Firewood is stacked to the left of the firepit, Books are on the bookshelves, board games are provided & an extra propane tank is next to the grill. Bring your bikes! The house is off of a highway bike path and connects to downtown St Joseph. Bring your hiking boots! Sarett Nature Center is a short distance and offers over 1,000 acres and 8 miles of trails. There is no entrance fee to hike on the trails. Bring your walking shoes or golf clubs! Harbor Shores a Jack Nicholas Signature Golf Course and home to the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship is just down the street, holes #7-9 have walking trails and a picnic pavilion near Jean Klock Park.

Bring your boat! There is ample parking along the scenic drive & there are several public boat launches including Paw Paw Lake in Coloma or Benton Harbor/St Joe for Lake Michigan. Also, there is a new Kayak launch in Riverside. Finally, consider a charter fishing excursion, Bob’s Barn, Jolly Orchards, Golf outing, Carousel ride, Museum trip, or a Winery tour during your stay!

Something to be aware of:
A true private oasis! The house offers private frontage on Lake Michigan in a secluded location surrounded by nature down a scenic drive from main road. The house is on a high bluff; offering unparallel panoramic views of the lake. There is NO BEACH/STAIR ACCESS directly at the house. However, there are numerous public beaches including Rocky Gap, Hagar Park, Tiscornia Park, Silver Beach and Jean Klock are all just a short distance away (4-15 min) & offer ample sandy beaches, play ground equipment & grill areas!”
