The Felt Mansion

The Felt Mansion is a stunning historic property located in the quaint town of Holland, Michigan. Built-in 1928, the mansion is a beautiful example of the Georgian Revival style of architecture. The mansion was once the summer home of the wealthy inventor Dorr E. Felt and his wife, Agnes. It’s hard to imagine a more picturesque location for a wedding.

As soon as I walked onto the property, I was struck by the beauty of the mansion and its surroundings. The mansion sits on 25 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and lawns, with the shores of Lake Michigan just a short walk away. The stunning scenery creates a truly magical backdrop for a wedding.

The mansion itself is just as breathtaking on the inside as it is on the outside. The grand entrance hall with its sweeping staircase is the perfect location for a dramatic entrance. The formal dining room with its crystal chandeliers and ornate plasterwork provides a stunning setting for the wedding reception. The mansion’s beautifully appointed rooms offer the perfect setting for capturing intimate moments between the bride and groom.

One of the things that I love about the Felt Mansion is that it’s a blank canvas. The mansion’s neutral color palette and elegant furnishings provide a beautiful backdrop that can be customized to suit any wedding theme.
