Henderson Castle

Historical Significance

The Henderson Castle holds a rich history that dates back to the late 19th century. It was built by Frank Henderson, a prominent Kalamazoo businessman, in 1895. The castle’s design draws inspiration from European castles, featuring turrets, ornate stonework, and a commanding presence atop a hill, making it a unique and picturesque wedding venue.

Castle Accommodations

Beyond being a wedding venue, the Henderson Castle also functions as a luxurious bed and breakfast. Couples and guests have the opportunity to stay in beautifully appointed rooms that blend old-world charm with modern amenities. The castle’s guest rooms offer a romantic and elegant setting for couples to relax and spend time together before or after their wedding celebrations.

Wedding Facilities

The Henderson Castle offers various spaces both indoors and outdoors for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and other wedding-related events. The main ballroom boasts intricate woodwork, stained glass windows, and high ceilings, creating a captivating setting for a reception. Additionally, the castle’s lush gardens and charming courtyard provide romantic backdrops for outdoor ceremonies and photo sessions.

Capacity

The outdoor venue can host up to 200 guests, but the indoor can host a maximum of 30. Accomodations are also available for up to 30 guests.

Cost

Packages begin at $3,500 and go up to as much as $12,000 plus food and beverage. Packages vary but some of the add-ons are extremely luxurious, like an in-room couples massage and ceremony violinist!

The Kalamazoo Loft

The Space

Located on the first floor of Klamazoo’s first sky scraper, The Kalamazoo Loft has been lovingly redisgned and remodeled. This venue comes with everything you could need from a full kitchen for your caterer, a beautiful crescent bar and artfully designed bride and groom suites. With a full sound system, set up and take down provided, this space is the perfect balance of amenities and flexibility. Handpick your favorite vendors, and bring them into a ready to go space.

Capacity

This venue can host up to 115 guests fro both ceremony and reception!

Cost

The space costs a flat $2,500 for the all-day rental. You can rent for four or six hours if you need less time with the space for as little as $1,500 but I recomend relieving the stress of the day and opting for the all day package.

FYI you will need rental insurance to serve alcohol at this space. Costs for this insurance are usually less than $200.

Kellogg Manor

Situated on gorgeous grounds overlooking Gull Lake, Kellogg Manor provides an idyllic setting for weddings and special events.

Historic Charm

The manor itself is a historic building with a rich history dating back to the early 20th century. Its architectural style and classic charm add a touch of elegance and timelessness to any event hosted there.

Scenic Grounds

The venue is surrounded by well-maintained gardens, lawns, and scenic views of Gull Lake. This picturesque landscape provides an excellent backdrop for outdoor ceremonies and photo sessions.

Versatile Spaces

Kellogg Manor offers various indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate different wedding styles and group sizes. Couples can choose from elegant indoor rooms, such as the Manor House Ballroom, or opt for outdoor ceremonies in the beautiful gardens. Regardless of your choice the Manor comes with a complimentary wedding planner!

Capacity

Indoor spaces hold a maximum of 50 guests, outdoors can accomodate up to 115!

Cost

Cost with recpetion begins at $5,000 and goes up on a per guest basis.
